Kaaren Henderson

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Ohio Wesleyan, has over 45 years of experience as an entrepreneur. She progressed from winning an award for selling the most girl scout cookies at the age of 9 to founding an executive search firm. The Search Network specialized in placing engineering professionals in San Diego’s high tech community for thirty years. She also created and led workshops in how to “Dress for Success” during that time. She loves creating beauty whether it’s in her home, wrapping beautiful gifts or creating flower arrangements. She joined Del Mar Toastmasters in 2006. She says, “Our club continues to bring great joy into my life! After all these years, I still look forward to attending meetings every single Friday morning. Del Mar Toastmasters is full of caring, interesting members with diverse backgrounds who love to laugh and learn. We provide an amazing journey of self-improvement that ultimately leads us to communicate and connect more powerfully with others.”

Nate McCay
Treasurer
I joined Del Mar Toastmasters in the late 90s. Many have come and gone, leaving fond memories and the lesson of how easy it is to like people who are different form me.

Jess Reimnitz
VP of Education
Jess is married to Sonja Reimnitz, they've been together 30+ years. They have three boys, all adults now (for the most part), with their first grandbaby on the way. It's a girl! Jess and Sonja enjoy eating out, walking their dog Mocha (a pointer, mastif, and carnie-corso mix). They like to spend time with friends. Jess likes to speak out of the Toastmaster's Entertainment manual, because he doesn't take himself seriously, so enjoys joking about himself and Nebraska. Jess wants everyone in the club to succeed at speaking and to that end, encourages everyone to get up and speak.
